Day 8 at Mount Hood! Happy 4th of July!

Philomena:
Today was super lit. We woke up at a ungodly hour but still ate. We started with some free runs which were super hype and then pulled up to some courses. Edry took some fire videos of us... After skiing we set off on our voyage to Trillium lake. Someone didn't think it through that it was 4th of July and it was packed. But not to worry! We made a quick U'y and headed off to salmon river road where we splashed around for a bit in the chilly waters.
Tessa:
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! We woke up at the ripe hour of 4:45 in order to be the first team in line, which both the coaches and racers accomplished. It was windy, clear and amazing, with hard and solid conditions. We did a panel slalom course, a stubby course, and two tall gate courses. After some crazy skiing and unbelievable improvements, we ate some lunch and took a team picture on the top of the hill. We headed down, did some shopping, rested, and headed to activities. We ended up in the frigid waters of Salmon River for a quick dip. There was a delicious "fourth of July" dinner and lots of tuning/video. Bedtime was at 8:00 and we all slept not so quick and loud.
