Krissy coached in the Burke Mountain junior program for the past 6 years, before switching to FSC in 2018. She grew up ski racing at Attitash, NH where she fell in love with the sport and decided the best place to be was outside on a mountain. She went on to race on both Holderness School Eastern’s team and Middlebury College’s Division-1 Carnival team. When her kids were old enough, Krissy started coaching U10's and U12's at BMA in 2012. Her oldest daughter is a U16 at Holderness School, and her younger daughter is a U12 in the FSC program. Krissy is a 100 level coach.

David is the head coach and owner of U.S. Elite Camps. He is the designer of the program and has shaped U.S. Elite Camps into the exciting and fun team of athletes and coaches that it is today. 'Edry' makes the daily training sessions tick. His high energy and the strange ability to 'act like a kid' 24-hours a day are what keeps everyone smiling.
Edry has coached young athletes to the U.S. Nationals and has athletes currently on the U.S. Ski Team racing on the FIS World Cup. During the 2012-13 season, four of Edry's former athletes were skiing on the U.S. Ski Team! Having coached kids for over 32 years, Edry's knowledge, experience and love for the sport of ski racing and helping athletes reach their goals has been a big factor in the success of U.S. Elite Camps.
When not at camp, David is the Program Director at the Loon Radce Team at Loon Mountain, New Hampshire. Edry moved to Loon from Stratton Resort in 2019 to lead and grow the emerging program. Prior to Loon, Edry was the Executive Director and Head Alpine Coach at the Stratton Winter Sports Club at Stratton Mountain, Vermont for 7 years. Edry was at Stratton Mountain School as the Head J3/4 Coach and Head of Children's programs for 7 years and is a Level 400 Alpine Coach and a Level 1 Certified Crossfit instructor. He is a Plymouth State College Alumni (Go Panthers!), experienced rock climber (5.11b), a category-2 bike racer, a 4x Boston Marathon Qualifier, and a reasonably bad golfer. It's tough to slow him down!

His interaction with US Team coaches on the hill and in the classroom is focused on translating advanced concepts to a level that our developing athletes can easily acquire. Kevin is a multiple session coach at our Copper camp and recently joined us at our Mt. Hood camp. In the off season Kevin enjoys "relaxing" with his family at international ski racing camps and working on his own skiing. Additional U.S. Elite Camps Family members
A founding partner, Lisa helped to develop U.S. Elite Camps. Her experience with traditional camps helped to make U.S. Elite Camps the safe and professional camp it is today. Lisa's planning and vision for a true camp experience helped to form the camp philosophy that is followed at each session.
Lisa has retired from U.S. Elite Camps and now lives just outside of Santa Cruz, California and is pursuing a new career. Though no longer a part of U.S. Elite Camps, her contributions were extensive and the athletes and coaches are always exited to see Lisa at camp when she's able to visit camp.
Welcome to U.S. Elite Camps
15 years ago, David Edry and Lisa Smith recognized a need for a ski racing camp which would cater fully to younger kids as well as independent older athletes. They wanted to create a camp that had elements of a traditional summer camp combined with a fun, family atmosphere, but with the highest level training possible with only professional dedicated coaches. U.S. Elite Camps is pleased to continue to offer a camp that looks and feels very different to others.
Welcome to the U.S. Elite Camps family!
