2022 Mount Hood Camp Session-1 Day 10-Last Day!

Day 10
Last day! The last day on the hill was a foggy one but the athletes had the opportunity to get in a pile of runs (no lift lines) on hard snow (880lbs of salt put down by the coaches). The last day is always a fun one, as the athletes have worked so hard all camp and their skiing ‘clicks’ and you see a lot of very good skiing! The afternoon awards presentation was a fun one as always! Congratulations to all the recipients and a big shout-out to the 2022 Super Campers, Rebecca and Tristian! This years junior Super Camper was Brendan!
Thanks to all the athletes for all their hard work and an incredible positive vibe! Thanks to all the coaches (Brett, Tyler, Pez, Paul, Catherine and Aaron) for digging deep and giving the athletes all of themselves every single day! Thanks to our super-counselor Jasmine for having a blast with and caring for the kids every day. Thanks to Krissy for all her work behind the scenes to help make the camp run and helping with any sick or injured athletes (and staff)! Thanks to Gretchen, Miles, and Logan at Timberline Lodge for making Mount Hood an incredibly fun place to summer ski and train! A big thanks to Blaine for his ***** (5-star) food every day at the Cascade Lodge! Thanks to Jackie for her help to ensure our set up at the Cascade Lodge is perfect! And finally, thanks to our sponsors Toko wax, Smith, Darn Tough Socks, and Head skis for their continued support of U.S. Elite Camps! It’s a big team to make this camp run and every one of the people above are the best in the business!
It was a blast and we loved every minute! I can’t wait until the next trip! Rest up everyone!!
