Today was day 9 at camp today and it was honestly one of the best days we had yet. We did a whole lot of slalom skills and drills on the hill. The conditions were a little rough, but the courses were at the best difficulty they have been all week, in the morning it was hard and solid but at noon it was soft and moldable snow. Today after we got off the mountain we ran to the changing rooms in the lodge to get ready for the cool hike to Mirror Lake. After we reached the top of the hike some of us went for a dip in the lake. The coolest part of the hike is when you get to the top of the climb and realize how close you are to Mount Hood. Despite all of the work and effort to get to the of the lake there was sadly no reflection of the mountain… just great views! Can’t wait for the last day of fun and the awards banquet of excitement. Plus cool raffles and prizes.
Don't forget, U.S. Elite Camps will again go live on
at 3:15 eastern time on Wednesday! Watch all the action!
