Today was our 6th day of skiing. Today was consistently warm throughout the day (warmer than most) and the snow held up well due to a surplus of salt, which the coaches laid out throughout the ski day. After the ski day was finished, the camp took a most deserved and much hoped for trip to the local town of Govy, which mostly consisted of snacks and huckleberry shakes. After the brief trip to Govy, the activity portion of the day kicked in. One portion of activity time was the mini golf tournament, which half of the campers participated in. The second half was filled with pool enjoyment, which was spent in the pool, and the always interesting riding of inflatable dolphins. Dinner started at 5:30, and consisted of chicken with rice and desert.
Lastly, a reminder to anyone reading tonight’s blog, a Facebook live stream will take place here at 12:00 PM (3:00 PM Eastern time)! The skiing was great, the weather was great, and every day is better than the last.
