Today we woke up and were excited for last day of skiing! However the lifts were on ‘standby’ (not running) for 3 hours. But, we didn’t give up! We waited patiently until we received the devastating news that the mountain wasn’t opening today. After receiving the news we packed up the vans and said goodbye to our friend Fuxi and made a quick final trip to government camp. Once we thought the day was over Edry surprised us with the news that we were going Go Karting at the Mount Hood Adventure Park! The races were close but there were five winners, George, Phoebe, Aggie, Margaux, and Marina. After that we said goodbye to Mount Hood and took the vans back to Cooper Spur. After we packed our bags and ate dinner we had our last meeting and said our final goodbyes to our camp friends and coaches. Now we are going to bed due to an early wake up time of 2 am! Lastly we would like to thank our U.S. Elite coaches and the staff at cooper spur for making for making this camp so wonderful, and a big thanks to Edry and Lisa for running a great camp! Thanks for a great mount hood camp 2016, we will miss you all!
