Today we enjoyed a great day on snow following our very exciting rest day! The day started out at 4:45 with breakfast at 5am. We enjoyed pancakes, eggs, bacon, potatoes and cereal. After packing our bags we jumped into the vans and headed to Mt. Hood. We were greeted with unexpectedly cool weather but we were able to enjoy our second to last day on slalom skis with our revised groups, and as always we were constantly improving! After our action filled day on snow about half us were able to enjoy outdoor rock climbing (at ‘Frenchies Dome’). We all made it to the top, despite our doubts, and were able to experience Oregon in a whole new way. Afterwards we returned to camp and were pleasantly surprised with our delicious dinner of pasta. After a quick meeting, we all continued the learning with our video sessions. Several also tuned our skis in preparation for another exciting day of slalom tomorrow!
