The day started off fairly cold at Cooper Spur as we went over to breakfast. It was a cold and windy ride up the top of the mountain, but soon after, the wind died down and was extraordinarily warm. The whole camp helped with the set up of the courses. The courses managed to hold up for the whole day, and were still in prime condition at the end. It was a great day for slalom and everyone improved their skiing. We headed straight to base camp, quickly off loaded our equipment, and headed to the Hood River Fair. The campers split up and had some relaxing fun. A few kids returned a little queasy from some rides and a few returned with face paint. Everyone returned from the fair with a little room left for some spaghetti and meatballs, which were extremely great today. The day ended with a calm meeting and an early night. Another Great day!
