After a rest day of white-water rafting, it was a pretty early morning for all of the campers. Fortunately, everyone was able to arrive at the vans on time for a fun skiing filled day on Mt. Hood. The snow was very hard at first, and as the day progressed and the sun came out, the snow softened for easier training conditions. Near the end of the day it became a little too soft, but everyone worked hard to ski their best. Leaving the mountain, the vans were headed downhill to Government Camp. After a quick stop, we drove back to Cooper Spur Resort where we enjoyed our fun afternoon activities. Everyone played some fun games of ultimate frisbee, ultimate football, and soccer. After showers and a bit of relaxation time, the campers ate a delicious meal. Finally, the coaches held their daily meeting and soon separate groups split to watch and analyze videos from earlier today. Everybody had an exciting and productive day and are looking forward to the next.
